Chapter 18

“Have you heard from Pleasura yet?” he asked.

Paris was the one who brought Pleasura to Rumora. He didn’t know she was their sister. He was in love with her and that was her plan. She was working with the Terrainiens to take over Rumora.

He still cared for her. They had never met as siblings. Pleasura was gone to Hondue before Paris was born.

“No, but I know they will come,” Wanta Mea said.

At least, she hoped they would come. She didn’t want to be wrong about her again.

“Where is Sunny?” he asked.

“He is gone. Lori took him away.”

“We must go find him.”

“I am. His father and I are going to look for them.”

“His father?”

Wanta Mea introduced Paris to Jack.

“He is a warlock,” she said.

“Does Sunny know that he is one also?”

“Yes, but I think Lori has blocked the vision from his mind.”

“I’ll go to the second world then and help them.”

“Who is watching the portal?” she asked.

“No one. I knew you needed help, so I came. There is no need for it now that Sunny knows everything. We can open portals when we need them.”

“I might be gone for a while, so tell Mother to take charge again. She’ll know the right thing to do.”

“Be careful, Sister. There are many bad things out there, and Lori is the worst. You might not like what you find.”

“Here,” Salty said. “Take this pillowcase with you. If you hold it, you might be able to track her.”

He handed it to Wanta Mea. She cupped it in her hands and closed her eyes. She stood like that for a couple of minutes before she opened them again.

“I can track her to Italy, but then she disappears. She has blocked the vision again.”

“Is Sunny with her?” Jack asked.

“Yes. They are traveling together,” she said sadly.

“Then we’ll start there,” Jack said.

“Goodbye, and good luck,” Wanta Mea said to the rest.

She and Jack held hands and vanished.
